PAYMENT PROCESSING
Authorization
When you place an order, we authorize your payment method to verify funds. Your card may show a temporary pending charge. This authorization is released if the order is not completed.
Charge Time
Payment is captured:
- At the time of order for in-stock items
- At the time of shipment for pre-orders or backorders (unless otherwise stated)
Order Confirmation
Once payment is successfully processed, you will receive an order confirmation email. This confirms that we have received your order but does not guarantee acceptance (see Section 5 below).
ORDER REVIEW & REFUSAL
We reserve the right to review, refuse, or cancel any order at our discretion. Reasons may include:
- Suspected fraud or unauthorized transactions
- Pricing errors
- Product availability issues
- Suspicious order patterns
- Violation of our Terms of Service
If your order is canceled, you will receive a notification, and any payment collected will be refunded in full.

BUY NOW, PAY LATER SERVICES
If you choose a Buy Now, Pay Later service (such as Klarna, Afterpay, or similar):
- These services are provided by third-party lenders
- Approval is subject to the lender’s terms and conditions
- SALT Sandals is not responsible for any fees, interest, or disputes related to these services
- Please review the lender’s terms carefully before selecting this option
REFUNDS & CHARGEBACKS
Refunds
Refunds are processed according to our Refund Policy. Approved refunds will be credited back to the original payment method within:
- 5–10 business days for credit/debit cards
- 3–5 business days for PayPal and digital wallets
- 7–14 business days for bank transfers
Chargebacks
If you dispute a charge with your bank or payment provider:
- We reserve the right to suspend your account until the matter is resolved
- If a chargeback is found to be invalid, you may be responsible for any associated fees
- We may refuse future orders from customers who initiate unauthorized chargebacks
FAILED PAYMENTS
If a payment fails or is declined:

DISCOUNT CODES & PROMOTIONS

- Codes cannot be applied after an order is placed
